Ateneo Lex aims to serve as a venue for the members’ personal and professional growth and development by empowering them through leadership and involvement in dynamic projects grounded in the organization’s core competencies of business law, business ethics, legal career development and legal management support.

Core Competencies:

  1. Business Law & Ethics

  1. Ateneo Lex just celebrated its 25th Anniversary in the year 2014.
  2. It was only in 2012 wherein Ateneo Lex became a closed organization (only open to Legal
    Management majors).
  3. Ateneo Lex has many new projects in store for its members this year including but not limited to an open dive, and a mountain climbing activity. The organization’s projects want to focus mainly on our main advocacy which is business ethics. With the new projects, we hope to make members and non-members more aware of what business ethics is all about.

Coalesce: A Business Law Summit

The newest flagship project of the Ateneo Lex, evolving from the National Business Law Conference. Ateneo Lex envisions Coalesce to be a convergence of varying perspectives, and an avenue for discourse of different ideas and views. Coalesce aims at tackling a critical issue prevalent in our nation, and coming together towards positive change while remaining true to Ateneo Lex’s core competencies of Business Law and Business Ethics.

Lex Camp

A three-day, two-night out of town leadership training seminar that aids the members of Ateneo Lex develop their potential as leaders. The event is composed of activities geared towards establishing a bond among all participants while also allowing them to learn how to work well in a group setting and harnessing their potential to become leaders fit to serve the organization. Each year, Lex Camp has a specific theme that imbues into its participants certain values through structured learning experiences, which they can utilize to help Ateneo Lex improve as an organization.

Labor Law Awareness Week

A weeklong project of Ateneo Lex that advocates the significance of Labor Law in order to empower and protect the rights of employees, particularly blue collar workers. With stories shared by the Ateneo workers, as well as a crash course on Philippine Labor Laws given by knowledgeable figures, awareness and involvement is promoted not only for students, but primarily for employees. The Ateneo community is also given a chance to make pledges for the employees, with the goal of showing appreciation for our employees and helping them in little ways.
