FAITH FORMATION CLUSTER
CLUSTER HEAD: Paul John G. Palomares
SECRETARY TREASURER: Jeryl Adrienne Louise T. Ty
“Go forth and set the world on fire.”
These words of St. Ignatius of Loyola reflect the workings of the Spirit among the organizations of the Faith Formation Cluster. Members of these organizations grow to nurture a spirituality that is formed through experiences of faith and inspires them to be of greater service to God and the nation. They find a home among the Faith Formation Cluster’s five organizations—each one unique in service, yet all deeply rooted in the ever-burning love and faith in God.
We aim to develop Ateneans to be spiritually formed in the Christian faith to bring forth inspired action in their specific ministries through our diverse avenues and collaborative efforts in faith formation.
The Faith Formation Cluster of the Ateneo envisions itself as a collective body of student organizations united in developing Atenean student leaders to be deeply rooted in love and service through a nurtured spirituality that inspires excellent action, forms lasting communities, and creates positive social impact.
The Faith Formation Cluster seeks to emphasize the unity in our service and to highlight the workings of faith in the lives of Ateneans. Through our various efforts and collaborations, we aim to make visible the Invisible Reality that moves in each organization and in the entire Ateneo community. These initiatives include FFSynergy, an avenue for the members of FFC orgs to meet and enjoy each other’s company as one community rooted in faith. Faithfuls of the Ateneo, on the other hand, is a year-long discovery of how Ateneans experience faith in their lives, “Humans of New York” style. Moreover, the FFC Culminating Night is a celebration filled with fun, food, and music, as we give thanks for the year that has passed and look with hope to the future. We aim for all these and more, as means of service through bringing and being Christ to others.
