“One thing I ask: to dwell in the house of the Lord all my days!”
The Ateneo College Ministry Group is an organization that seeks to provide authentic self-giving service in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, leading individuals and communities closer towards God as well as communal growth. Aside from a regular Mass Service Training and Music Rehearsals, ACMG offers a Eucharistic-centered Formation Program aimed to nurture members spiritually through the Prayer and Formation Sessions that vary from talks to Mass celebrations within and outside of the Loyola Schools. Moreover, ACMG offers opportunities for leadership through its departments and projects geared towards bringing the Eucharist in light of the relevant social issues we experience as a community.
On its 36th year, ACMG welcomes you to be a “Kabarkada kay Kristo,” to a family that unconditionally sings and serves together and seeks to enrich a faith experience shared with our fellow Catholic communities.
V I S I O N
Following St. Ignatius’ loving devotion to the Eucharist, the Ateneo College Ministry Group envisions Catholic communities continuing to grow in faith through a meaningful celebration of the Mass.
M I S S I O N
Rooted in Ignatian values and formed through service in the Eucharist, ACMG seeks to enrich a faith experience shared with fellow Catholic communities. Together, members of ACMG and members of the communities are empowered to deepen their participation in the Church through the Eucharistic training and formation that ACMG provides.
- Eucharistic Ministry
- Eucharistic Spirituality
- The organization was founded by Fr. William H. Kreutz, SJ, who was a legendary Math professor of times past. He also checks up on the org regularly, so current ACMG members are able to meet him too.
- The “Bintana” logo stems from ACMG’s early days, when it used to decorate the Chapel’s windows in times of Paschal celebration.
- There is a Mass song personally dedicated to ACMG – One Thing I Ask, composed by Paulo Tirol. This song, like the Psalm (27:4-8) that is based on, brings to life the spirit of service that ACMG embodies.
- Choir and Altar Service for Mass Celebrations
- Mass Service Trainings
An avenue for prayer and meditation in preparation for the Holy Week. It includes activities such as exhibits, liturgical services, and talks that will reflect Christ’s ultimate act of salvation.
Mass Service Trainings and Choir Workshops
Singing and serving in the Eucharist has been ACMG’s long-standing goal. These activities provide the members an avenue for enriching and sharing their abilities, as well as their faith experiences.
Pure Love Talk
Love is a universal vocation. This is a talk about the idea of love as it is experienced in marriage, single-blessedness, Eucharistic vocation, and other ways of life.
